Azaleas 2002
Home Up

Photo Gallery

These were pictures made during the Easter 2002 weekend.  You'll see my latest construction project (fence) and the beautiful azaleas that are now in bloom.  We laughed about the fact that the Homeowner's Association brought us an "Honorable Mention" letter last week.  The yard really doesn't look that good, but the azaleas cover a "multitude of sins."

Old Glory flies here!

First, an ongoing project. Gravel to fill along the retaining wall.

The pile of 13 fence panels, etc. at the start.

The fence posts... newly sealed

The area to be fenced... all along the back.

Two days hard labor... in place!

(Friday-Saturday, Easter weekend)

A closer view.

The old ground timbers of the flower bed to be removed and dirt to be added to level a bit.

A (somewhat) reduced pile of gravel.

A (somewhat) reduced pile of panels.

Azaleas along the drive.

The "oak hill" azaleas, on the other side of the house.

The pine tree azaleas, showing the dogwood tree.

Hey... who IS that?

This one if for Jim, who asked if I ever showed up here.

Remove all doubt about it.

My beautiful bride!!!

Looking back at the house.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Again.

The azaleas are just about at "Peak".

We miss all of you and wish you could be here to enjoy them with us!
