We first met Dale & Imogene McAnulty when we went to an Air Force assignment at
SHAPE in Mons, Belgium (1977-1981). Dale & Imo at the time had been
missionaries in Lille, France for about 13 years. Over the four years we
spent in Belgium, they made frequent trips to Mons to work with the small
English-speaking congregation we had at SHAPE and we grew to love them very
much. The first pictures below were of Imo during a visit to Montgomery on
her way to a Romanian Workshop at the Opelika Church of Christ. During
this short stay, she purchased 110 pairs of shoes at our local Wal-mart and
packaged them up for UPS shipment (about 220 lbs.) to Tennessee where she will repackage them
into duffle bags for shipment as part of her luggage to Romania. The shoes
will be distributed by her to a number of orphanages in the Bucharest, Romania
area. Dale, unfortunately, is not in these pictures... He is still hard at
work preaching the Gospel in Bucharest. The last half of these pictures
are ones that Imo shared of children she works with in orphanages in Romania.
