50th Wedding Anniversary
Southern Caribbean Cruise

Our wedding anniversary was actually on December 17, 2004.  This series of pictures begins with a "pre-cruise" anniversary dinner with friends, Neal & Barbara Smith and Bill & Cindy Knighten at the Montgomery Country Club. The center-piece flowers were a gift from George & Tiara Kent.  Cindy baked us one of her special cakes for the occasion.

The cruise then began December 20th and returned on December 31st.  We flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico where we boarded Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas... now the smallest ship in the fleet.

It was a wonderful cruise, filled with many memories and new friends.  We thoroughly enjoyed it all.  Our tablemates (Joan Hill, from Anguilla, W.I. and daughter, Joy Hill, from Ocala, FL) were delightful to be with.  In honor of our 50th wedding anniversary, Empress of the Seas Cruise Director, Jimmy Rhodes, presented us with a bottle of champaign (which we gave to our table mates) and a dinner for two in the exclusive, onboard Italian restaurant, Portofino (which we enjoyed immensely!)
